Immeadiate help please!

Three-fourths of all the pandas in the world once lived in China. Today two-thirds of those pandas are gone. What fractional part of China's pandas are left?

Please give me an answer and explanation my students will understand they still don'tunderstand from my view point!

If it starts with 3/4 and then 2/3 of that amount is gone, first find (2/3) of (3/4). This is (1/2). You then have to take that (1/2) from the original amount of pandas (3/4)-(1/2). There is now (1/4) of the panda population in China
