Slope = (Yb - Ya) / (Xb - Xa)
Slope = (8 - (-5)) / (7 - (-2))
Slope = (8 + 5) / (7 + 2)
Slope = 13/9
So, in conclusion, the slope of this line is: 13/9 which means that for every 13 units you go up, you go 9 units to the right.
