Step-by-step explanation:
The memory B cells are formed upon antigen exposure and remain in the body of the person for a long time.
The memory B cells help the organism as on subsequent exposure of the same pathogen, the already existing memory B cells can produce a robust response and hence control the infection more early or prevent it from occurring at all.
Thus,
if the person has a memory B cell developed against a particular pathogen the chances of the person to become diseases from the same pathogen the second time decreases.
