A pole that is 3.5m tall casts a shadow that is 1.23m long. At the same time, a nearby tower casts a shadow that is 40.25m long. How tall is the tower? Round your answer to the nearest meter.

(3.5)/(1.23) = (x)/(40.25)
cross multiply
1.23*X=3.5*40.25
1.23X=140.875
Divide to isolate the variable
X=114.53252032
Then round the answer
X=115 m
