The correct answer is C. Washington agreed to the industrial education oriented to jobs available for the majority of the black population. Du Bois wanted for them the same classical education in liberal professions that the white population received and believed that an elite called "the tenth talented" (10% of the black population) would open the way for his race in a wide range of professions.
