hypotenuse^2=base^3+height^2
?^2=9^2+12^2
?^2=81+144
?^2=225
?^2=15^2
?=15

h = sqrt(9^2 + 12^2) = sqrt(81 + 144) = sqrt(225) = 15
hypothenus = 15 cm.
