Identify the underlined phrase. Write ADJ for adjective phrase or ADV for adverb phrase.

If the phrase of the land is underlined, then it would be an adjective phrase. This is because the whole place belongs to the noun beasts - what kind of beasts? (Those) of the land.
You are describing what beasts are like, which means that you are using an adjective, not adverb.
