If the speed is 125 miles per hour and the amount of time is 4 hours, in order to find the distance traveled, we just need to multiply the speed and the time:


\begin{gathered} \text{distance}=\text{speed}\cdot\text{time} \\ \text{distance}=125\cdot4 \\ \text{distance}=500\text{ miles} \end{gathered}
