It is simple. Use 8/8 and subtract it by the probability of an event happening and you will get 5/8

(Probability of it Happening) + (Probability of it not Happening) = 1 (or 100%)

this makes since because it is for sure either going to happen or not happen.
x = probability not happening
3/8 + x = 1
x = 1- 3/8
x = 5/8 (or 62.5%)
