The main conflict in Hamlet is the fact that Hamlet feels a responsibility to avenge his father's murder by his uncle Claudius, but Claudius is now the king and is now well protected. Hamlet also struggles with his doubts and about whether he can trust the ghost and if killing Claudius is the right thing to do.
Hope I helped!

Hamlet's Uncle Claudius murdered Hamlet's father so he wants revenge for that but since Claudius is the king he is well protected making it difficult. Hamlet also struggles with doubts about whether killing Claudius is the right thing to do.
