A cylinder has volume V=pir^2h
use r=8/2=4
v=16*12pi
This is true because the circle has Area pi*r^2 and it is being potruded thru a distance h to make a cylinder if you can visualize that.

Answer:

The volume of a cylinder be
192\pi .

Option (B) is correct.

Explanation:

Formula

Volume\ of\ a\ cylinder = 2\pi r^(2) h

Where r is the radius of a cylinder .

As given

if it has a diameter of 8 and a height of 12.

r = (8)/(2)

r = 4 units

h = 12 unit

Putting in the formula

Volume\ of\ a\ cylinder = \pi* 4* 4* 12

Volume\ of\ a\ cylinder = 192\pi

Therefore the volume of a cylinder be
192\pi .

Option (B) is correct.
