Your values are the essential beliefs that influence your worldview, religious views, sense of morality, and ethics.
You may value respect, but this is based on the belief that respect is important (one of your values).
Your actions can be a reflection of your values, (your values influence the decisions you make) but your actions are not values in themselves.
Worth seems like an intuitive answer to the question, but is not quite right. The worth, or importance, that you attach to something may be connected to your values. For example, a crucifix necklace may have great worth you, but it is likely because the crucifix is a symbol of your religious beliefs, which influence your values.
