we have

x+y=11

x=11-y --------> equation A

4x^(2) -3y^(2)=8 ----> equation B

Substitute equation A in equation B

4(11-y)^(2) -3y^(2)=8

therefore

the answer is the option B

4(11-y)^(2) -3y^(2)=8
