The form of the underline verb is imperative.

A good way to spot an imperative sentence is by noticing the lack of subject, Imperative sentences are the only one which do not have a subject. Imperative sentences give a command or an order to the recipient. The form of the verb used for the imperative is the base form of the main verb

The correct answer is Imperative if the verb is explain

It is imperative because it orders you to do something and this is what imperatives are used for. Similarly, sit down, jump, or anything similar is also imperative.
