John and 2 friends are going out for pizza for lunch. They split one pizza and 3 large drinks. The pizza cost $12.00. They spend a total of $16.95. Find the cost of one large drink.

B. $2.48

D: $1.65. How ti get this answer i knew that A and B were too much so i took C and multiplied by 3 (three for the amount of drinks) and then added 12 to see if it equaled 16.95 but it was too much so i knew it had to be D, Another method is that you know that you need to add 4 to 12 to equal 16 so i took the 4 and the .95 and divided by 3 and got 1.65.
