Suppose a population of 250 crickets doubles in size every 3 months. How many crickets will there be after 2 years?
Would it be 4,000 crickets or 64,000 crickets?

so, you have to double it every three months, so you are doubling is 8 times total. so, when you double 250 the first time you get 500 so then you double that, and you get 1000 the you double that to get 2000 then you double that to get 4000 then you double that again and get 8000 then you double that again to get 16000 then again to get 32000 and the one more time to get your answer 64000
