bill jump 8.5 feet and art jump 11.5 feet

Let, Bill jump = x
Art's jump = x+3

So, x+x+3 = 20
2x = 17
x = 8.5
x+3 = 11.5

So, bill jumped 8.5 feet & art jumped 11.5 feet
