The particles that make up a rock are constantly in motion. However, a rock doesn't visibly vibrate. Why do you think this is?

The movement of particles are little and negligible. And, a rock is a solid. Solid particles move the least because they contain the least amount of energy.

yes, just as potatos and bananas also, the particles move but it is so little a movement, that it goes unoticed
