I just did this question, here's the my answer and the sample answer it gave. (:

Sample Response: The value of p is 2. The parabola opens to the right. The focus is at (2, 0) and the equation of the directrix is x = –2. The axis of symmetry is y = 0. The vertex is at the origin, (0, 0).
