The answer is B. Do not want to be forced to testify against themselves. This is referring to the fifth amendment. If you say I plead the fifth, it means that you don't want to answer the question that could make you look guilty.

When you plead the fifth, it's referring the the 5th amendment against self-incrimination so you are refusing to speak.
B. Do not want to be forced to testify against themselves
