Why did companies want to crush labor unions

Companies wanted to crush labor unions because the people that were working at the unions would become unemployed so they would have to work at the companies. Also, the people working in the little gangs of workers are probably working against the companies. For "people safety and high pay" reasons. I hope this helped.

Labor Unions are groups of workers who ban together in order to get what they want from the companies they work for such as raises or better working conditions.

Companies would want to crush these unions because they do not want to spend more money on their employees.
