If the numebr of forces acting on the system, then depending upon the direction of each force, the work done is calculated.

The net work done is not the muliplication of work done by the each force.

The net resultant force acting on the system is calculated and the resultant displacement of the system is calculated.

Then with the resultant force and displacement, the workdone on the system is obtained.

Hence, the given statement is false.
