How many solutions does the equation have?

a+5=1/5(15+5a)

The first thing we need to do is distribute on the right side. 1/5 * 15 is 3, and 1/5* 5a is 1a, so now the equation is a+5 = 3+a
Subract 3 from each side and you have a+2=a
There are no solutions because any number +2 will never equal itself. This is incorrect, because the two sides are not equal to each other, so there are no solutions(:
