4/12 because the LCD is 12 and what you do the denominator you have to do to the top so in order yo get 12 you have to multiply 3x4 so you multiply 1x4 to get 4/12
For cleaning the kitchen 4x3 is 12 so the top is 1x3 which is 3/12
