simplify: which value is an irrational number.

Step-by-step explanation:(a) the perimeter of the square whose side length is

√(8)

the perimeter of the square is

\begin{gathered} 4a \\ =4√(8) \\ =4√(4*2) \\ 4*2√(2) \\ 8√(2) \end{gathered}

we know that

√(2)

is an irrational number hence the perimeter of the square will also irrational .
