A) Corruption of the Catholic Church, this basically started the Protestant Reformation because when the Catholic Church had a ton of power up until this point.

A major part of Protestant reformation was A. Corruption in the Catholic Church. The sale of indulgences were letters of forgiveness for a person's sins. Because of these letters, the people of Europe decided that reform needed to take place.
