Do i add all three angles together then take 180 and subtract what i got from the angles and thats my answer? Which by the way is 79+23+50+x=180 then 180 - ?=x

it is 78 because you can draw a transversal with the line that 79 is on, and 79+23+x=180. so 180-79-23=78 therefore 78=x
