Can someone show me the steps to this equation.

z- 4(2/3) = 2(2/3)
it read Z minus four and 2/3 equals two and two thirds just to clear confusion that the 2 and 4 are not being multiplied by 2/3

z-4(2)/(3)=2(2)/(3)\ \ \ \ |add\ 4(2)/(3)\ to\ both\ sides\\\\z=2(2)/(3)+4(2)/(3)\\\\z=6(4)/(3)\\\\\boxed{z=7(1)/(3)}

so z-4 2/3=2 2/3
so 4 2/3=12/3+2/3=14/3
2 2/3=6/3+2/3=8/3
z-14/3=8/3
multiply both sides by 3
3z-14=8
add 14 to both sides
3z=22
divide both sides by 3
z=22/3=7 1/3
