Answer:

(11)/(39)

Explanation:

Given,

The number red bulb = 11,

Yellow bulb = 9,

Purple = 7,

Total bulbs = 11 + 9 + 7 = 27,

If two bulbs are taken,

Then, the probability that one bulb is red and one is yellow

=\frac{^(11)C_1* ^9C_1}{{27}^C_2}

=(11* 9)/((27!)/(2!* 25!))

=(99)/((27* 26)/(2))

=(99)/(27* 13)

=(11)/(39)

I have a solution here where:

A bag of 27 Tulip bulbs contain 10 red tulip bulbs, 8 Yellow, and 9 purple tulip bulbs.

Red-
10/27= .37
times 100 gives percentage
=37%

Yellow-
8/27= .3
times 100 gives percentage
30%

You can use my solution in answering the question on your own!

I hope my answer has come to your help. Have a nice day ahead and may God bless you always!
