If the sugar makes up 25% of the solution, that means the water makes up 75%, or 3/4, of the solution.

Set up a proportion to solve:

(3)/(4) = (x)/(472)

Cross multiply:

4x = 1416

x = 354

Therefore, there are 354 grams of water in the solution.
