The fisherman with the longest fish wins a fishing competition. About how much longer is the first place fish than the third place fish?

The first place fish is 68.7 and the third place fish is 58.2

To do this problem all you need to do is subtract the third place number from the first place number.

It should look like this

68.7-58.2

Ok, now you subtract and you will get the answer 10.5

So your answer would be the firt place fish is 10.5 or 10 1/2 more than the third place fish!

Hope this helps!

Comment if you have any questions!!!
