You have to do what's in the parentheses first and then either multiply or divide and then add and subtract and that's how you get your answer

The 10 is correctly distributed so that it is used to multiply the 15 and the 6 separately. The distributive properties of addition and subtraction can be used to rewrite expressions for a variety of purposes. When you are multiplying a number by a sum, you can add and then multiply.
