The perimeter of a rectangle is 96 ft. The ratio of its length to its width is 5 : 3. What are the dimensions of the rectangle?

length/width=5/3


length=5/3width


Perimeter =2 (width+length)


96=2 (width +5/3width)


48=8/3width


width=48.3/8


width=18


length=5/3.18


length=30
