The answer to your question is D. Because they are trained medical doctors they can prescribe medications.

Psychiatrists are the only specialists in the field of mental health that can prescribe medications. Psychologists study mental health and some practice psychotherapy, there are many types of therapy. Social workers work with family members of those being treated for mental disorders, they can also work as counselors.
