The questions asking here is basically asking for half of the hypotenuse
Pythagorean Theorem= a^2 + b^2 = c^2
40^2 + 30^2 = c^2
1600 + 900 = c^2
2500 = c^2
square root of 2500 is 50
C = 50
half of C is 25
BE is 25
