How do I remember where the 13 colonies are located

I remembered by looking on YouTube for some songs that could help or you can study them

What I did when I was in middle school was I look the map with the locations of the states and repeat it over and over.. then test myself or have someone test me. Or I did that but other than testing myself I'd look at a blank map then try and guess where they are. Does that help?
