Given the function

H(x)=2x-1

To find the x-intercept, set H(x)=0 and solve for x, as shown below

\begin{gathered} H(x)=0 \\ \Rightarrow2x-1=0 \\ \Rightarrow2x=1 \\ \Rightarrow x=(1)/(2) \\ \Rightarrow((1)/(2),0)\to\text{ x-intercept} \end{gathered}

As for the y-intercept, set x=0 and find H(0)

\begin{gathered} H(0)=2(0)-1=-1 \\ \Rightarrow(0,-1)\to\text{ y-intercept} \end{gathered}

The answers are (1/2,0)->x intercept and (0,-1)-> y-intercept
