Let, the that time = x
Equation for Danielle, 15x+50
Equation for David, 12x+80
For equal hours, they should be equal,
15x+50 = 12x+80
15x-12x = 80-50
3x = 30
x = 10
So, your final answer is 10

y=15x+50
y=12x+80
12x+80=15x+50
12+30=15x
30=3x
x=10
They need to work for ten weeks to earn the same amount of money
Hope this helps :)
