What is the area of an equilateral triangle that has sides of 2 yards and a height of 4.25 feet?

12.75 squared

Explanation:

Remember convert the yards into feet. 2 yards= 6 feet.

6 feet x 4.25 feet= 25.5 feet

remember a=1/2 b x h

after you get 25.5 divided it by 1/2 or 2

then you get 12.75 squared

The first thing you need to do is convert the yards into feet. In one yard there are three feet. So 2*3=6 now you can do the triangle area equation.
6*4.25=25.5 then divide by two. 25.5/2=12.75
So the area of the triangle is 12.75 ft^2
