Does math get much harder as you progress through the years in high school? If I listen in class, pay attention ask questions and do my homework, will I find it hard?

If you take a ton of notes, it get easier. If the way a teacher teaches you is totally different than the way you were taught, it's okay. As long as you get right answers right. If you don't get correct answers, best to take notes as your teacher teaches now.

You should listen in class of course and you will probably come across a subtopic that might be impossible but if you keep trying then it will be oK.
