Why do plants need leaves? What do the leaves do...?

Plzz Help not egger though

Well plants give us energy in which we can breath with the oxygen they give us

Leaves "catch" sunlight and chloroplasts in the leaves convert the sunlight to chemical energy in a process called photosynthesis, which turns this chemical energy into glucose (sugar) food for the plant. Without leaves, the plants would not have food. I hope I helped!
