7 x (6 x t)= 7 x 6t= 42t
(7 x 6) x t = 42 x t= 42t
yes they're equivalent

Yes the associative property of multiplication allows this to be true

In other words, you can multiply in different groupings and still get the same result

Example: (2*3)*5 = 6*5 = 30 or 2*(3*5) = 2*15 = 30
