How many x-intercepts are there in y = –3x2 + 4x + 4

You can factor it to find the answer:

–3x^2 + 4x + 4
–(3x^2 - 4x - 4)
–(3x + 2)(x - 2)

x=-2/3 or 2, which means that there are x intercepts, at -2/3 and 2.
