The simplest form of 124/1000 is 31/250.
How'd I do that? Find the GCD or Greatest Common Divisor of 124 and 1000. It's 4. Now, divide them by their GCD. You'll get 31/250.

124/1000 in simplest form is 31/250. I took 2 and divided it by 124 and 1000 until it couldn't be reduced anymore.
