Distance= 6 laps

then:

so speed in miles per minute is:


\text{speed}=\frac{dis\tan ce\text{ }}{time}

then speed of cal is:


\begin{gathered} \text{speed}=((6)/(4))/(5.5) \\ =(6)/(22) \\ =0.2727 \end{gathered}

The speed of cal is 0.2727 miles per minute
