The hydrogen in kind of positive and the oxygen is kind of negative these two opposite polarities help keep the water molecule together

The oxygen end of the molecule has a partial negative charge. The hydrogen end has a partial positive charge. The oxygen molecule has more of a "pull" on the electrons!
