Protestantism is predominant in what part of Europe?

I think it would be the Northern part of Europe. Protestantism is predominant in Northern Europe. While the Renaissance which took place before the Reformation really affected only southern Europe, the Protestant Reformation affected the North of Europe. Hope this answers the question.
