Foods with a lot of fiber are good sources of vitamins C, B6, and E, and are also linked to the reduction of cancer-causing agents. Fiber rich foods have a wide range of advantages in the body, apart from being a source of vitamins, fiber rich food helps to slow digestion and helps the body to absorb vital nutrients from some foods. Insoluble fiber stays in its fibrous form and helps food pass through the digestive system and adds bulk to the stool, which helps the body to stay regular. In addition they lower cholesterol level by lowering lo-density lipoprotein or cholesterol levels.
