What is the speed of a wave with a wavelength of 3 m and a frequency of .1Hz?

CALCULATION:

As per the question, the wavelength of the wave is given as
\lambda=\ 3\ m.

The frequency of the wave f = 0.1 Hz.

We are asked to calculate the speed [ V ] of the wave .

The relation among speed, frequency and wavelength of a wave is given as -

speed = frequency × wavelength

⇒ V = f ×
\lambda

= 3m × 0.1 Hz

Hence, the speed of the wave will be 0.3 m/s.
