Tall: 24in

The total inches of ribbon Cheryl needs is equal to the perieter of the classroom board.

As a classroom board is rectangular you get the perimeter whit th next formula:


P=2W+2T

Then, for the given board:


\begin{gathered} P=2(36in)+2(24in) \\ P=72in+48in \\ P=120in \end{gathered}
